On August 2, 2025, CIIT’s Drawing Room and 5th Floor Hallway turned into a hub of energy and ideas. NeoNode 6, the end-of-term tech olympics, brought together top projects from key tech courses. CIITzens showed what they learned in robotics, game design, data mining, and programming, all in one exciting day.
The event was guided by CIIT’s tech faculty. Mr. Rizaldy Rapsing, Mr. Maynard Aldwin Guerrero, Mr. Medina, Mr. Daniel Kyle Tala , Mr. Percival Fernandez, and Mr. Christian Pinca.
Students competed in six challenges. InsightQuest tested skills in hotel and credit risk analysis. PlayForge brought together game designers and programmers to create new game concepts. PixelQuest featured fully developed student games. GameArena pushed advanced game designers to think bigger. CodeCraft tackled finance tech for microloans. MechMinds ended the event with exciting robotics battles, from Sumobot fights to line-tracing races.

The program kept everyone moving. The morning opened with Data Mining and Game Design, followed by Game Production and Advanced Game Design. Programming and DSA came next, and the robotics competitions closed the event. An awarding ceremony wrapped up the day, with winners taking home cash prizes.
CIITzens called the event exciting, challenging, and worth the effort. Many felt proud to see their work recognized. Some said they want more robotics competitions next term. Faculty also saw which projects had real potential, with several already looking ready for future showcases or competitions.
NeoNode 6 was more than just a contest. It was a chance to learn from each other, gain feedback, and turn classroom lessons into real projects. It proved that when CIITzens combine creativity and logic, they can build something for the future.
