Grade 11 CIITeens took a step back in time with their Prehistoric Prints: Fossil Making and Exploration performance task, combining science and artistry in a hands-on learning experience.
Guided by their Science Teacher, Ms. Edeliza Dasko, our students unearthed the fascinating world of fossils. They learned about the fossilization process and applied their creativity to craft unique replicas of ancient organisms. Using plaster and their imagination, they brought prehistoric life back to the present in an exciting and educational way.
This activity didn’t just teach them about history—it opened new doors for combining artistic expression with scientific exploration. The stunning fossil artworks they created are a testament to their growing skills and passion for learning, which CIIT continuously nurtures through innovative, hands-on activities.
