In line with its commitment to innovation and industry relevance, CIIT Philippines successfully conducted the 2025 Academe-Industry Dialogue (AID) on June 3–5 and 10–11. This biennial initiative, organized by the Academics Department, brought together a dynamic roster of 35+ industry experts for collaborative discussions across CIIT’s academic programs.
Held in focused group discussion (FGD) formats, AID 2025 engaged 6–8 professionals per session from diverse sectors including animation, film, game development, graphic design, computer science, and information systems. Representatives from the Department of Trade and Industry’s Creative Industries Development Office also joined select sessions, underscoring the national significance of the event.

Key Industry Participants: Insights and Impact
AID 2025 served as a platform for leading voices in creative and tech industries to share their expertise and expectations. Among them were Michael Acosta (Playlab Studios), Joanne Caballes (Top Draw Animation), Seymour Sanchez (Film Development Council of the Philippines), Abigail Osorio (MullenLowe TREYNA), Reynold Medes (Xenpay Inc), and Leo Carlo Palileo (Keywords Studios Manila), to name a few.
Across five academic programs—BMMA in Animation, BMMA in Film and Video Production, BMMA in Graphic Design, BS Computer Science and BS Information Systems, and BSEMC in Game Development—experts provided targeted feedback on current trends, skills in demand, and future-proofing the curriculum.

Advancing CIITzens’ Readiness for Tomorrow
AID 2025 reaffirmed CIIT’s core belief in weaving creativity and logic through deep industry collaboration. Insights gathered from the dialogues will directly inform curriculum updates, ensuring that CIIT’s programs remain aligned with the evolving needs of the workforce.
As a key component of the CIIT Academe-Industry Partnership Program, AID plays a pivotal role in preparing students—our CIITzens—to become creators and innovators ready for the world beyond the classroom.
Stay tuned as CIIT continues to redefine possibilities through purposeful education and empowered partnerships.
