Creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurial spirit came alive at CIIT Fest: Symphony—a one-day festival that perfectly reflected CIIT’s core pillars of Arts, Technology, and Business. Organized by the CIIT Student Council, this year’s event wasn’t just a celebration; it was a testament to the diverse talents and aspirations that make CIIT a unique learning hub for the next generation of creators, innovators, and entrepreneurs.
Held on November 15, 2024, at the enchanting Fernwood Gardens in Quezon City, the event welcomed 174 attendees, including students, alumni, and members of the CIIT community. The vibrant atmosphere and engaging activities reminded everyone that CIIT is more than a school—it’s a thriving community where passions come to life.
A Vibrant Showcase of Talent, Innovation, and Ambition
The festival brimmed with activities that showcased the dynamic talents of CIITzens, celebrating not only the harmony of Arts and Technology but also the entrepreneurial drive that sets CIIT apart. Here are some of the standout highlights:
- Artist Performances: Live music filled the air with performances from Akatsuki, Sunset Overdrive, Angelika Sam, Mikee, SHNTI, and Austin of Tunes. Their dynamic sets brought energy and excitement, making the festival feel electric.

The festival also highlighted the spirit of generosity, with Babaylan Café sponsoring 33 free coffees for volunteers who made the event possible. This simple yet meaningful gesture perfectly encapsulated the sense of community and collaboration that defines CIIT.
Words of Gratitude and Lessons for the Future
The event was filled with heartfelt gratitude and reflections from key speakers who celebrated the collective effort of the CIIT community. CIITzen Brendan Espino expressed his appreciation for the new student council’s dedication to continuing the Symphony tradition, while CIITzen Louie Octava extended his thanks to both the attendees and the organizers for their enthusiasm and hard work. Sir Rizaldy Rapsing and CIITzen Oliver Chiuco also took the stage to honor the remarkable creativity and innovation showcased in the capstone projects.
While Symphony was undeniably a success, it also served as a valuable learning experience. As only the second iteration of this large-scale event, it highlighted areas where improvements could be made, particularly in managing larger crowds and logistics. Despite these challenges, the overwhelmingly positive feedback from attendees—many of whom are already looking forward to future events—made it clear that the CIIT Fest: Symphony is a step in the right direction for fostering a stronger, more vibrant community.
Building a Future Beyond Limits
CIIT Fest: Symphony wasn’t just a celebration of Arts and Technology; it was a platform that showcased the entrepreneurial talents of CIITzens and underscored the school’s commitment to redefining possibilities. The event reaffirmed CIIT’s mission of empowering students to excel in creativity, innovation, and business.
With plans for follow-up activities already in the works, the Symphony tradition will continue to grow, providing students with more opportunities to shine, collaborate, and build their future.
