Our events not only showcase our CIITeens’ talent and creativity but also aim to make them feel that their participation is making a meaningful impact! This was evident at the recently concluded Stellar Soirée. On the 17th of May, CIIT Senior High School students were treated to an exclusive evening of captivating performances at the CIIT Interweave.
Organized by the Senior High School Supreme Student Council, the event featured the talented Musicateens (Performing Arts) and Indayog (Dance Club), along with a special performance by the guest band Ultraviolet. The gathering supported a noble cause, with proceeds benefiting Strays Worth Saving (SWS), a nonprofit organization devoted to rescuing stray cats and dogs.
A Night of Talent and Giving
Our CIITeens thoroughly enjoyed themselves at the event. Many danced and sang along to the music, eagerly anticipating performances from our talented SHS students. Following the soirée, we gratefully received generous donations from both students and parents.
These contributions allowed us to raise funds sufficient to purchase 120 kilos of sawdust, sacks of rice, collars, chew toys, and food bowls for the stray cats and dogs rescued by Strays Worth Saving.
At CIIT, we go beyond developing our students’ talents for careers or entertainment. We aim to inspire them with the belief that sharing their talents can bring about significant change. We’re proud that our Stellar Soirée has made a positive difference for our furry friends!
