CIIT honored Women’s Month with an inspiring Family Health and Wellness event on March 21, 2025, at the Ignacia Campus. Organized by the SSHS Support Services Department, the event brought together students, parents, and faculty for a day focused on mental, physical, and financial well-being.
A Mindful Start
The program began with a prayer led by Ms. Shiela Amor Dagapioso from the Guidance Office, setting a reflective and peaceful tone for the day. This was followed by opening remarks and reminders from Ms. Hazel Angeles, emphasizing the importance of self-care and financial empowerment for a well-balanced life.

Health, Wellness, and Financial Empowerment
Participants engaged in a Yoga and Meditation session led by Ms. Shiela Amor Dagapioso, which encouraged mindfulness and relaxation. To complement the focus on holistic wellness, financial experts from Sun Life, InLife, and UnionBank shared valuable insights on financial planning, investments, and securing a stable future.

Freebies and Community Appreciation
To make the celebration even more exciting, attendees received freebies from generous sponsors, including Yakult, CalCheese, Campion, Energen, Katinko, Clinika Bernardo, and Lee Aesthetics. The event also included a Card Giving and Parent-Teacher Consultation (PTC), strengthening the connection between parents, students, and educators.

Overall, the Women’s Month Celebration at CIIT was a resounding success, reflecting the institution’s commitment to empowering individuals and promoting overall well-being. The joy and enthusiasm of the attendees proved that events like these truly make a difference—not just in raising awareness, but in fostering a happier, healthier community.
