A Day of Connection: CIIT Senior High School’s COMEmustahan & Mental Health Fair 2025

On October 10, 2025, the 3rd floor of CIIT Senior High School’s Mother Ignacia Campus came alive with warmth and togetherness during our quarterly COMEmustahan & Mental Health Fair. This vibrant event brought students, parents, and faculty together to celebrate academic achievements and nurture emotional well-being.

The day embodied CIIT’s mission to foster a supportive community where every CIITeen feels valued and empowered, creating memories that will resonate long after the event ended.

Meaningful Start of Day

COMEmustahan kicked off with an enlightening talk by VMG Professional PH INC., titled “A Parent’s Guide to Mental Wellness.” This session provided parents with practical strategies to support their child’s mental health, emphasizing the power of open communication and emotional resilience in today’s fast-paced world. The talk inspired attendees, setting a hopeful and uplifting tone for the activities that followed, and reinforcing CIIT’s commitment to holistic well-being.

The morning continued our quarterly Parent-Teacher Assembly, where parents received their child’s 1st Quarter Grades and connected with our dedicated faculty in open, heartfelt discussions. These conversations strengthened the bond between home and school, ensuring our students are supported in every step of their journey.

The event went beyond academics, setting the stage for a day focused on building resilience and fostering a sense of belonging within our CIITzen family.

Engaging Activities for All

The Mental Health Fair buzzed with creativity and connection, thanks to the efforts of our passionate Peerkada CIITeen volunteers. These student leaders brought warmth and enthusiasm to every activity, ensuring everyone felt included. A lively photobooth captured smiles and joyful moments, giving families keepsakes to cherish. Interactive drawing sessions invited participants to express their emotions through art, creating a space for creativity and reflection.

A Message of Hope board became a heartfelt display, filled with handwritten notes of encouragement and positivity from our community. The Tree of Hope & Resilience stood as a powerful symbol, with CIITeens adding leaves to represent their shared strength and optimism. Free snacks fueled the energy, keeping the atmosphere warm and inviting as families and faculty connected through these shared experiences.

Strengthening Our CIITeen Spirit

The COMEmustahan & Mental Health Fair Event was a beautiful reminder of the power of community and care at CIIT. We’re already planning more events to keep our CIITeens inspired and connected.

Stay tuned for updates on future activities that will continue to showcase our students’ creativity, resilience, and spirit.
