With Love & Thanks: A Month of Appreciation at CIIT

Throughout February, CIIT’s HR Department brought the community together to celebrate gratitude in action, inviting employees to share heartfelt messages, spark joyful moments, and strengthen the connections that make CIIT a true home for creators.

Weaving gratitude into our everyday life.

Last February, CIIT’s Human Resources Department brought the community together for a heartfelt celebration titled “With Love & Thanks: A Month of Appreciation”. Held at the Interweave Building, the initiative created space for CIIT employees to pause, reflect, and recognize the people who make our campus feel like a second home.

More than just a seasonal activity, the event highlighted what makes CIIT a thriving community of creators: collaboration, kindness, and meaningful connection.

Appreciation Letter Activity

February 02–10, 2026

What happens when you give people the opportunity to say thank you?

For over a week, full time employees and part time instructors were invited to write appreciation letters to their colleagues through a dedicated Google Form. Whether it was for a teammate who stepped in during a busy season, a mentor who offered guidance, or a colleague who consistently brought positive energy into the workplace, each message carried a personal note of gratitude.

All submitted letters were carefully collected and organized by the recipient. On February 13, 2026, these messages were sent directly to each honoree via email, turning an ordinary day into a meaningful moment of surprise and affirmation.

For many, reading thoughtful words from peers served as a reminder that their efforts matter. In a fast paced environment where creativity and innovation intersect daily, taking the time to acknowledge one another strengthens the threads that bind our community together.

Lucky Hearts Draw

February 12, 2026

Appreciation continued with a touch of excitement.

Employees who participated in the letter writing activity were automatically entitled to join the Lucky Hearts Draw, an onsite raffle held at the HR office. Each participant had one chance to pick a slip from the fishbowl and discover whether they had won a prize.

The atmosphere throughout the day was filled with anticipation, laughter, and friendly reactions, especially when a slip turned out to be “bokya.” While not every draw came with a prize, the experience itself sparked lighthearted moments that added to the celebratory spirit.

To make the day even sweeter, simple treats were distributed for everyone to enjoy and share, because appreciation, much like creativity, is best when shared.

A Culture of Gratitude

“With Love & Thanks: A Month of Appreciation” welcomed both full time employees and part time instructors, reinforcing that every member of the CIIT community plays a vital role in shaping our environment.

The initiative achieved more than recognition. It nurtured a deeper sense of belonging. Employees expressed feeling valued and appreciated, fostering renewed motivation and camaraderie across departments. Through small yet meaningful gestures, the event strengthened relationships and encouraged a culture where kindness is practiced openly.

At CIIT, we believe that innovation thrives where people feel supported. Just as art and technology interweave to build the future, gratitude and collaboration weave together to build a stronger workplace.

As we move forward together, we carry this reminder with us: sometimes, the most powerful impact begins with a simple thank you.
