Building Connections, Living the Values
The event brought together the Board of Directors, full-time academic and non-academic staff, and part-time instructors in a dynamic two-day program. Spearheaded by the CIIT Human Resource Department, the outing was anchored on four goals: team building, better communication, deeper collaboration, and a renewed commitment to CIIT’s values.
Highlights included team bonding activities that encouraged employees to work together, solve challenges, and celebrate small wins. These moments reminded everyone that collaboration and trust remain at the heart of CIIT’s mission.
As the sun set, the energy shifted to Social Night, an evening of music, food, and lighthearted conversations. It was a chance for colleagues to know each other beyond their professional roles, sparking friendships and memories that will carry into the workplace.
More Than Just Fun, It’s a Refreshing Break
Feedback from participants reflected the outing’s impact. One staff member shared, “I love the food service. 10/10, especially the coffee supplies. Thank you, CIIT and the Human Resource team. I truly enjoyed the free time as well.” Another added, “Very good and relaxing outing. The food and accommodations were excellent, and the venue, while a bit far, was worth it. Everyone had a great time.”
These voices highlight how the outing not only boosted morale but also strengthened the sense of belonging within the CIIT community. By stepping outside their usual routines, employees found renewed energy and appreciation for one another.
